Charatan Robusto Cigar
This mild to medium strength cigar is made using Cuban seed, Nicaraguan and Indonesian tobaccos that are complemented by a shade grown, Java, wrapper leaf.
The Charatan Petit Corona has a unique flavour – packing notes of oak and toasted spice, with a subtle hint of vanilla at first light, moving into a dark cocoa, black peppery finish with a subtle hint of espresso at the finish.
Length – 4 7/8 inches
Ring gauge – 50
The Charatan story began in 1863 when Frederick Charatan opened a new tobacconist in London. The business was ran by his family until 1960 when it was bought out by Dunhill Tobacco of London, who produced the highly popular cigars that made Charatan the number one Nicaraguan brand in the UK.
Over 150 years later the story continues in the capable hands of Tor Imports who, in 2018, transferred the production of Charatan cigars to Joya de Nicaragua, the county’s oldest and most prestigious factory. This allows them to maintain the unique blend of high grade tobaccos and ensures they can offer a premium, handmade cigar at an affordable price.
