Calabash Meerschaum Pipe – Large
Go the full Sherlock Holmes with this classic, meerschaum-lined, wooden calabash pipe.

The shape made famous by Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective, it features a heavy, thick-walled meerschaum bowl which sits inside its wooden mount which has an air chamber beneath that helps to cool and dry the smoke.

Fitted with a hand-turned, curved stem and presented in a soft-lined, bespoke hard case that keeps the pipe safe when not in use.

Found only in Turkey and some parts of Northern Africa, meerschaum is a highly sought after material in pipe making, popular for its porous qualities that make for a cool, dry, flavoursome smoke.

As the pipe is used, over time the bowl will will darken in colour from a snowy white to shades of caramel, reddish hues and dark mahogany browns (depending on the blend of your tobacco) making each pipe utterly unique to the user.
