Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Ponies Cigar
The Kentucky Fire Cured Cigar by Drew Estate has long been a favourite amongst seasoned cigar smokers and it’s now available in a smaller size to enjoy on the move.
Medium to full strength and easily compared to the rich, smoky flavour of a peaty scotch, expect strong notes of roasted hickory and oak, with a maple-like sweetness.
While most tobacco is air-cured, the leaves used to make these cigars, are left to hang over a heavy smoke fire, using a variety of wood chips, in specially-constructed curing barns, using a process that dates back over 200 years, infusing the leaves with their unique, complex flavour and room aroma.
These pocket-sized sticks are perfect for a quick 15 minute smoke break, but if you’re looking to kick back and relax for longer, we’d recommend the bigger, MUWAT Kentucky Fire Cured Chunky Cigar.
Available as a single stick or in a pack of ten presented in a metal case.
Length – 4 inches
Ring gauge – 32
Major –
The sound of a horse galloping in the distance, wooden floor creaking, pianist playing his favourite tunes, drifters dealing cards to other strangers whilst the bartender pours you another shot of whiskey…is exactly how it feels when I smoke these cigars. The smoke is light with nutty and wooden flavours. Frankly, I could smoke these all day and be quite content. Whether they’re smoked as you wander or enjoyed on a warm day with a glass of bourbon; these are by far my go to smoke.
