Turkish Blend RYO Tobacco
A medium-strength, slightly spicy RYO tobacco with a unique flavour and a clean burn.
A relatively recent addition to the outstanding range from Gawith & Hoggarth, makers of the UK’s finest RYO tobaccos, Auld Kendal or AK to those who know them best.
It uses the same premium quality Virginia leaves that the company is known for as a base before blending in a distinctive-tasting Turkish leaf & shorter cut to add a depth of strength and flavour.
Great alternative to mass-produced blends like Amber Leaf and Drum Gold. Unlike the majority of pre-packaged tobaccos which have hundreds of chemicals added to them, Turkish Blend is made using minimal natural additives and to a premium standard.
Available in weights of 30g or 50g.

As a reluctant ex Gauloises smoker (no longer imported to uk) I searched a long time to find a suitable replacement.
No it’s not the same, but offered a similar satisfying smoke, with flavour, strength and little crumb. Now my tobacco of choice and long may it continue! Four and a half stars really 🙂 Oh, and five for service!

A nice easy smoking middle of the road tobacco. Very pleasant, easy to roll.
Generally I prefer a dark tobacco but unfortunately my favourite was out of stock. This tobacco is a decent alternative to the harsher tobacco’s and it very satisfying.

Johnny’s suggested I try this as my favourite cigarettes, before the government kindly stopped me from being able to get them, were Camels (not the blue ones!) and now I can only get them if a friend visits America and brings some back for me! Not quite the flavour of Camels but certainly the nearest I’ve been able to get and rolled fairly loose and fat and they make a very nice smoke.
