William Shakespeare Meerschaum Pipe – Large
Featuring none other than Britain’s most famous bard, William Shakespeare, this stunning meerschaum pipe is a must have for the collection.

Found only in Turkey and some parts of Northern Africa, Meerschaum is a highly sought after material in pipe making, favoured for its porous qualities. It is also extremely easy to work with when wet, making it a popular choice with master craftspeople to showcase their skills.

The pipe is fitted with an amber-coloured, hand-turned, lucite stem and is presented in its own bespoke hard case that is soft-lined and fitted with a metal clasp closure.

PLEASE NOTE: Meerschaum is quite fragile and definitely won’t take a beating like a briar pipe! Take care when taking apart your meerschaum pipe for cleaning – never attempt to clean while the pipe is still warm – and take care not to bang the bowl on a hard surface when emptying.
